Houseplants 101: Potted Paradise Employee Training

The Problem:

Potted Paradise Plant Shop & Nursery’s new employee training had gaps. Employees lacked sufficient knowledge about houseplants, leading to challenges in assisting customers with inquiries. These knowledge gaps created challenges in assisting customers, leading to missed opportunities to help customers, customer frustration, and a potential decline in customer loyalty. 

The Solution:

The goal for this course is to improve customer satisfaction, establishing Potted Paradise as a go-to destination for expert advice on houseplants, creating repeat customers and referrals and increasing sales by 20%. After the training, the employees will be able to provide customers with accurate information, answer customer questions, and advise customers about houseplants.

Emotional Intelligence for Workplace Success


The Problem:

Employees at Northeast Industries are exhibiting poor communication, increased conflicts, and strained relationships that impact workplace productivity, engagement, and overall job satisfaction. 

The Solution:

The goal for this course is to establish a workplace culture with emotionally intelligent employees, leading to improved relationships, increased employee engagement, decreased conflicts, and a more cohesive and resilient workforce which will result in higher productivity, enhanced innovation, and improved employee retention. After this course, employees will be able to apply self-regulation strategies to manage personal emotional responses, demonstrate empathy in professional settings, and implement relationship management techniques.

Fulton Theatre Usher Training


The Problem:

Patrons are complaining during show attendance and on their end of show surveys about volunteer ushers not intervening when other patrons are not abiding by theatre etiquette principles. Additionally, patrons report unprofessional conduct of ushers when interacting with patrons. Both of these situations are negatively impacting the overall theatre experience for Fulton Theatre’s patrons. 

The Solution:

The goal for this course is to create a positive and welcoming theatre experience for patrons, leading to increased customer satisfaction and repeat business. Success would look like an increase in ticket sales and the end of show surveys showing a customer satisfaction rating increase of 20%. After this training, volunteer ushers will be able to recognize when to intervene if patrons are not abiding by the theatre etiquette principles, address problems in a discreet and courteous manner, and follow Front of House Chain of Command Protocol if support is needed.
